Piet Mondrian was a Dutch artist and scientist who pioneered new advances in the field of geometric abstraction. His art and its simplicity have always fascinated me since a young age. Mondrian's work is often said to resemble comic panels, although he was creating these paintings when the genre was in its infancy.
I thought it would be a neat challenge to myself if I took Mondrian paintings, and used them as a basis for a comic. These might get too abstract to really hold any meaning, but they're mostly meant for me to have fun and practice collage and comic lettering.
